Patcher Richard Messner of Lafayette was enjoying the serenity of the Lafayette-Moraga trail Tuesday when -- wheeeeiririeierirr.
For the uninitiated, that's the sound of a mo-blo crew starting up, and Richard says 7:30 a.m. was just a wheeee bit early for him.
"I mean, really?" Richard huffed. "It's quiet and nice, people saying 'good morning' on the trail and then two guys with gas powered blowers and trimmers start up. It ruined an otherwise perfect morning."
We understand, which is probably why we received Richard's cell phone "Captcha." He also captured the name of the landscaping company who sent Richard's morning-ruiners into the field Tuesday and we may post that if we can confirm that this crew actually violated the town's ordinance against noise.
