continue to worry residents -- especially after one of them is found peering under one homeowner's doormat.
Moraga police were sent to Ketelson Drive at 1:17 p.m. on Sept. 7 after a resident there reported two men on her doorstep, with one of them peering under her doormat when she opened her door.
The "adult male" salesmen said they were with an energy company but could provide no business card or company literature. Police contacted their supervisor, who told them he had five people going door-to-door in the area, and advised them to get a permit, "gather up his group" and to leave town.
Two additional salespeople were also located and invited to leave, according to Moraga police.
Still, permit in hand (or rather on lanyard), this particular solicitor was pretty heavy-handed with his sales tactics. ("So can I ask WHY you don't want to purchase what I'm selling?")
Folks you need a large roof surface facing south or at least south west ish - west with a slight south angle makes for a very costly and ineffective solar system.
