Three-Chorders, Head-Bangers and Hip Hoppers - It's the Patch Battle of the Bands!
Even if you only know "Smoke on the Water" or the lyrics to Ice Cube's "It Was a Good Day," get your boys and gals together and capture your best take on video and send it in. Best band wins!
Time for some music Garage Banders - so get the glockenspiel from the music room and put down some Old School Buddy Holly, or maybe your most faithful backup singers/dancers for some Beyonce or Lil Wayne covers.
Capture it on video and get it to us. We'll upload the best videos by category and put it out to the voting public - your parents and peers on this site - and winners will get $150 for the band and $200 for your school music program.
Professional pickers and singers may also enter, but a separate judging will be held to make sure the up-and-comers get a chance to show off their best licks.

Official Contest Rules:
- You must rock hard
- Your video must be in a format we can use
- No Milli Vanilli (no lip-synching)
- All major musical genres allowed: Rock, Jazz, Country, Hip Hop, Metal, Barbershop, Banjo and Polka
- You must live in Lamorinda
And to give you something to shoot for, here's Patch's own Jim Caroompas and his band, The Caroompas Room, laying it down N'Orleans-style with "Late at Night."
