- Why Go: Bring your family heirlooms and favorite flea market finds to be professionally valued by certified appraisers. Professional appraisers donate their time at the event, evaluating objects in such categories as toys, tools, jewelry, clocks and watches, stamps and coins, dolls, books, art, furniture and other household contents. All proceeds benefit the educational gardens and programs at The Gardens at Heather Farm
- Pricing: $15 admission includes 3 appraisals, $5 for each additional appraisal

- Why Go: The East Bay Regional Parks urges residents to take the 2011 Trails Challenge. The challenge is a self-guided, self-paced hiking program that encourages good health through outdoor exercise. After registering for the Trails Challenge, you’ll receive online access to the 2011 trail booklet, instructions for receiving your free Trails Challenge T-Shirt, and links to hike routes on Google Maps.

- Why Go: Final days to see the fabulous and funny musical. It’s about a modern day musical theatre addict who listens to his favorite LP — the 1928 musical comedy The Drowsy Chaperone – to chase his blues away.

- Why Go: Join the Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center at the Orinda Country Club for their annual fundraiser. Event includes a sit down dinner, live music, silent and live auctions. Reservations are required. Funds raised will assist with providing riding lessons for children with special needs.
