An upcoming installment of the Orinda Library's "Listen to the World" summer music series takes place July 28 with Shirley Kazuyo playing the koto, an ancient Japanese instrument, with her son Brian Mitsuhiro Wong.
Performance starts at 7 p.m. next to the fireplace at the library, 26 Orinda Way.
