Jazz Jam at Petar's

The scene is Petar's in Lafayette where the kids have been jamming now for the last half year on the 3rd or 4th Monday of the month. Students and families, from the local public and private schools bring their instruments and show their moxy in an informal highly energized evening of jazz. Local bassist/guitarist, Terry Miller, is at the helm, ushering the musicians on stage and guiding them through the music, with help from other adult instrumentalists. The evening crescendoes into an all inclusive finale of blaring horns and rythyms, not to be missed by musicians and listeners alike.

Musicians of all ages welcome. Every musician will get a chance on stage. Bring your axe and play. Free pre-jam clinic at Terry Miller's on Sunday, 2-4pm, prior to Monday jam session. Music will be provided.
