Film Night Event Featuring "Bag It" and Author of "Plastic Free"

Sustainable Lafayette’s Summer Film Series concludes with a “can’t miss” event featuring Bag It, and much more, on Tuesday, July 31st at 7pm at the Lafayette Library.   Bag It has been garnering awards at film festivals across the nation. What started as a documentary about plastic bags evolved into a wholesale investigation into plastics and their effect on our waterways, oceans, and human health.   Beth Terry, author of new book “Plastic Free,” will be on hand to introduce the movie, answer questions afterwards, and do a book signing.  Check out informational tables in the Community Hall beginning at 6:30pm.  Free cookies from Chow Restaurant and free coffee/snacks from Whole Foods.  $5 donation suggested.
