Diablo Ballet "Dance on Film" Series - West Side Story

Enjoy a special screening of the 1961 dramatic dance film, West Side Story. The film will be hosted by the Diablo Ballet!

Winner of 10 Academy Awards including Best Picture, this classic musical set among the tenements of New York City finds star-crossed lovers Maria and Tony caught in the midst of a turf war between rival street gangs.

Pre-screening talk and post film Q & A with Lauren Jonas, Diablo Ballet Artistic Director, and Beau Behan, film critic for Walnut Creek Patch and Orinda News. Also, attendees may participate in a special FREE drawing for a chance to win tickets for two to a Diablo Ballet performance.
