Diablo Ballet "Dance on Film" Series Presents "An American In Paris"

On Wednesday August 15th 6;30 PM, join Diablo Ballet & The Lafayette Library Foundation as the popular "Dance on Film" series continues with the legendary musical An American in Paris.  Admission is $5 in the Community Room. Gene Kelly & Leslie Caron star in this glorious movie musical which won the 1951 Academy Award for Best Picture. Featuring a score by George & Ira Gershwin, come see one of the greatest dance movies ever made.

Before the screening, join Lauren Jonas, Diablo Ballet Artistic Director, for a special talk about the making of the film. Joining Lauren will be Beau Behan, a local film critic for the Walnut Creek Patch and Orinda News. He is also a Co-founder of the Moraga and Orinda Jazz Festivals.
