A Photographic Day in the Life of Lafayette
City sponsors photography contest for pictures snapped on June 21, the longest day of the year.
Lafayette photographers will take a long look at the longest day of the year — Friday, June 21.
The city of Lafayette is staging a contest for the finest photo taken on that long day's journey into night. The winner will be judged by the Lafayette Public Art Committee, and displayed at the Library Gallery at Community Hall (and on the city's website) from September through November.
There will be a reception at the gallery in late September.
