The Patch "Jungle Drums" started thumping at 9 a.m. Saturday after several members of the Patch Militia spotted a three-bus (tinted windows, very hush hush) and accompanying motorcycle escort snaking their way up Moraga Road into town.
Everyone who saw the caravan wanted to know who it was and we pinged the usual suspects looking for the scoop. Lo and behond, we find out it was the University of Nevada football team visiting Moraga for a little pre-game warm-up.
Saint Mary's College agreed to let the Nevadans use their field before their game with Cal today but didn't let the word out -- that being a treasonous act and all. But there you have it!
