Wheels of Fortune: the Orinda Car Show is Saturday

No matter what one's view is of material possessions, it is difficult not to admire an elegant or tricked-out automobile. There is something in the heart of most Americans that just responds to metal flake paint, shiny chrome and a walnut wood dashboard. 

For those who agree, Saturday will be an excellent time to get thee to the Orinda Country Club for the 9th annual Orinda Classic Car Show. No matter what your automotive cup of tea, it will surely be represented here. Cars foreign and domestic, muscle cars and Model Ts, Mustangs and Maserati's will all be on display. 

And yes, there will be food. A BBQ booth will be serving car lovers, and the club restaurant will also have outside service for the show. 

Admission is free, but each $10 or more donation will be used to help fund the Seniors Around Town transportation program. 

So spend some time Saturday at the Classic Car Show at the Orinda Country Club, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You're sure to have a wheel good time.
