Week In Review: Over The Rainbow

Did you miss some of the stories from Lamorinda Patch earlier in the week?

These stories were among those that got the most reads over the last week on Lamorinda Patch.

It was the end of an era at Petar's in Lafayette. The restaurant and bar closed, and Diamond Dave Hosley's musical act drew the curtain on a 26-year run. Patch posted a basic story first. By the time we loaded our video of Diamond Dave there, reader Pamela had loaded two of her own. Pamela, you captured the one with Dave wearing a funny hat. Thanks!

There was a feel-good ending to this tale of a fellow borrowing an iPhone (a Christmas gift) from a teenager and then running off with the phone.

It seemed like the Boy Scout brass blinked … and then withdrew its blink. Initial word that the Mount Diablo-Silverado Council would recommend an Eagle Scout badge for Ryan Andresen, 18, of Moraga, was reversed. "A scout official said later that Andresen does not qualify for the badge because he rejects God, a charge Andresen's father disputes," our story reported.

Somewhere over the … Orinda Theatre. The story of a great photo of a great rainbow behind a great theatre.
