Olympic Skater Kristi Yamaguchi Is Coming to Lafayette Library April 11

As part of its Authors and Athletes Family Series, the Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation is hosting an event with Olympic ice skater Kristi Yamaguchi Friday -- April 11 -- at 6 p.m.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. program, and followed at 7:30 p.m. with a book-signing of her series, "Little Pig."

Yamaguchi, an Olympian, athlete, artist, author, wife, mother and philanthropist, will converse with Dennis O'Donnell, Sports Director, KPIX 5.

She will speak of her Always Dream Foundation, and share her recent travels to Sochi and inspirational work to improve childhood literacy.
