Moraga Tree Lighting Illuminates Saturday
First the Moraga Community Chorus will perform at 6:30, with tree lighting at Moraga Commons at 7:00 p.m.
The Moraga Community Chorus will harmonize. The Moraga Commons holiday tree will be lit. The reflected light will dance in children's eyes.
That's the plan Saturday for the Moraga Commons park at Moraga and St. Mary's roads. The chorus performs at 6:30 p.m. and then the switch is flipped for the tree at 7:00 p.m.
Santa and his Moraga Youth Involvement Committee elves will have cookies and cocoa in the Commons Park.
You can help finance the festivities in buying a bulb for $25 on the Moraga town website. You can also give in the paper way by sending checks payable to the Town of Moraga to: Town of Moraga, Attn: Buy-a-Bulb, 2100 Donald Dr., Moraga, CA 94556.
