Southbound, Away from Moraga, With 3 Mules

The Mysterious Mountain Man with 3 Mules is headed south.

When last we saw the MMM in mid-August, he was ambulating the dusty Moraga Way trail. He was then and is now a man of few words.

The MMM is searching for we don't know what. Dick Newell of Southern California searched for "three mules" on the Internet and found the Lamorinda Patch story as well as a snapshot of the MMM and his 3 Ms on Sunset Boulevard in La La Land. That's reproduced in our photos with this story.

Dick was "botanizing" along Maple Springs Road in the Cleveland National Forest in Orange County when saw the MMM, who said in his M way, "Going south, taking it one day at a time …"
