Diablo Ballet Dance on Film Series: Funny Face

Designed for: All Ages

This 1957 classic features Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire in a Pygmalion story set in the world of high fashion.

Funny Face is an irresistible combination of George and Ira Gershwin songs, style, and star talents and showcases the choreography of  the renowned Eugene Loring. Astaire plays fashion photographer Dick Avery, who turns a scruffy Greenwich Village intellectual (played by Hepburn) into a supermodel, takes her to romantic Paris, and falls in love with her.

Diablo Ballet's Artistic Director, Lauren Jonas and Diablo Ballet dancer, Edward Stegge, will present fun facts about the film.

$5/person at door. Click here to register
