We've had buckets of rain in the last 10 days.
Maybe you've noticed.
When there have been buckets, this disappearing waterfall reappears. It's on the Lafayette-Moraga Regional Trail a quarter-mile north of where the trail crosses Rheem Boulevard at the intersection of St. Mary's Road.
It will disappear again if the winter takes a turn for the dry, say no rain for 17 days straight. It will disappear for sure when the dry season takes hold in April or May.
I call it the Disappearing Waterfall. Anyone have a formal name for it?
