Anne Frank Stepsister Speaks in Orinda

Talk on Saturday evening is sponsored by Chabad of Contra Costa.

Eva Schloss —  who has a personal story that parallels her famous stepsister, Anne Frank — is speaking at the Orinda Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Like her stepsister, Schloss went into hiding in Holland during the Nazi occupation, was betrayed, captured and shipped to the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp. Anne Frank's diary was recovered after her death, published and converted into a film. Schloss is now a London resident.

The talk is sponsored by Chabad of Contra Costa. Tickets are $25 for the main theatre, $20 for the loge. Call (925) 254-9065 for tickets.
