And the Best Neighbor In Moraga Is...
Yes, we report stuff that isn't always pretty. But there's a good side to life in LamoBurbia we also feel compelled to write about.
We've got some pretty cool neighbors and this Patch gig of ours gets us out there and meeting more of them every day.
The winds and a neighborhood walk brought Moragan Kay James our way again Tuesday, during our early days as Patch - our combined efforts resulting in a happy homecoming.
Patch likes that sort of spirit in people so seeing Kay brought a smile back to our face - and then we heard of another neighbor in the 300 block of Fernwood Drive who also went above and beyond the call recently.

Turns out Moraga police went to our neighbor's house on July 17 after she reported finding a wallet on her driveway. Moraga police were able to determine the owner's name from information inside and arrangements were made to get it back to the owner - with all contents placed in safekeeping until that could happen.
We just thought that kind of civic kindheartedness was worth writing about - plus it gave us an excuse to post another picture of "Sammy," the bulldog Kay rescued way back when.
