Local chef Charles Vollmar of Epicurean Exchange in Orinda is leading an
Adobe Rancho Cooking Class on Sunday, July 20, sponsored by the Friends of the Joaquin Moraga Adobe.
The special one-day cooking class, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Wilder Ranch House is $150 per person and will feature delicious dishes inspired by the Rancho life at the Moraga Adobe.
The event will support the fundraising effort of the Friends to restore the adobe, built in 1841 and the oldest surviving structure in Contra Costa County.
