The dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League® Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way, in Lafayette, encourage you to mark your calendars for the Bathing Suits promotion that will start on Tuesday, May 20.  Before you hit the “retail trail,” stop by this well know landmark while the inventory lasts.

Not only will you find swim suits for men, women, and children, you’ll find accessories for both poolside and beach enjoyment. Before and after swim items will include water shoes, beautifully fringed pareo wraps, and an assortment of cover ups.  Rash guards for men and children, boldly colored beach towels for the entire family, as well as straw and fabric hats for sun dwellers will prepare you for varying temps throughout the day.  An assortment of beach bags and a few strands of shell necklaces (presentation is everything!) will enhance this one-stop shopping adventure.

You’ll also find items for satisfying healthy appetites that are so typical when spending time in the great outdoors.  Environment friendly plastic dishes, pitchers, and tumblers stored in straw picnic baskets and spread over beach blankets will definitely complete your barbecue and bonfire needs.

Should you have any “fun in the sun” items that you no longer use, the member volunteers will gladly take them off your hands in exchange for a tax donation receipt.  Your purchases and donations will help fund Assistance League of Diablo Valley’s eight philanthropic programs.  To learn more, please visit this website:  diablovalley.assistanceleague.org.
