County Supervisor Candace Andersen is looking for interested, motivated district 2 residents to serve on a variety of Contra Costa County citizen advisory boards. These voluntary boards usually meet monthly and advise the Board of Supervisors on a variety of issues. They provide a key communication link between the community and county government.
She is looking for volunteers from her district to fill the following positions: two spots on the Alcohol & Other Drugs Advisory Board, one spot on the Economic Opportunity Council, one alternate on the Emergency Medical Care Committee, two spots on the Mental Health Commission, one spot on the Alamo Municipal Advisory Council (Alamo Resident), one spot on the Iron Horse Trail Corridor Management Program Advisory Committee (Alamo Resident), one alternate on the Service Area P-5 Citizens Advisory Committee (Roundhill Resident), and two alternates on the Service Area P-2B Citizens Advisory Committee (Alamo Residents)
District Two includes: Alamo, Canyon, Danville, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Parkmead, Rossmoor, San Ramon, Saranap, and Walnut Creek west of Main Street.
