Gaels Miss Last-Second Shot, Lose in NCAAs
End of St. Mary's men's basketball season after loss to Memphis.
Senior star Matthew Dellavedova was long with a three-point shot with a few seconds left, and the St. Mary's Gaels ended their men's basketball season with a loss to Memphis in the NCAA tournament.
Memphis won 54-52. The Gaels of Moraga had advanced to the game in Auburn Hills, Mich., after defeating Middle Tennessee State two days ago.
