Campo Filmmaking Dream Team Compete In Iron Filmmaker Challenge

Here's an inside look at the Campolindo Dream Team in action during 24-Hour Iron Filmmaker competition. The prompt for this year's project was a three minute or less short film that incorporated the theme, "Be Careful What You Wish For."

It's simple: draft, shoot and cut a three-minute or less short film that incorporated the theme: "Be Careful What You Wish For."

Campolindo Students Aja AdairColter HarrisSamuel Crossley , Scott Call , Taylor Hunt, Grayson Kirtland and Michael Chickering - known collectively as The Dream Team - won the California Independent Film Festival contest last year but, as you can see, struggled with a concept this time around - not to mention the need to say "hey" to any ladies passing through their shoot at Moraga Commons.

My "Heart of Darkness" video highlights the struggles the student filmmakers faced in getting team agreement on the focus of the film - and to at least get something shot before it got dark.

Some high end equipment was checked out from the Campolindo video class and, yeah, I'm envious. It was a tough start but the Dream Teamers pulled it together and have their film "in the can." The contest will announce the winners this Saturday.
