Black and White Female Cat Found On February 5

We found a very friendly black & white cat in our garage on Sunday, February 5.  She was hungry and seemed to be lost. She is a full-grown cat, but is quite playful.  We would like to return her to her own home because we already have three cats in our household!

Now you have 4...Our pet's have a way of finding us. No collar? How about a chip? If you take her to the shelter I believe they can scan her. Wish I could have her but I already have 4 very spoiled kitties.

Yes, we did have her scanned. Unfortunately no chip. She is a very sweet cat. I can't believe someone would just dump her!

Hey, I think I know that cat - Is it Max? Is she from anywhere near Glorietta Blvd. and Overhill Rd? If not, she's got a twin over here in the hood that roams around and comes by to say hi periodically. I'm pretty sure I know who she 'stay with' over here.

The cat I'm familiar with used to wear a collar with her name, 'Max' on it, but she hasn't been with the collar for a while.

No collar. Glorietta and Overhill is a long way from our house, but you never know. Let me know if someone is looking for Max.

For a moment, I thought that we found my mother's lost cat last seen in Orinda Downs on January 31. Very sijmiliar markings, but unfortunately not our cat. If the waiting period for the owner at the Martinez animal shelter passes, we may be interested in adopting the cat since it looks very similiar to our lost Sassy.

You would love her! Do you know how long the waiting period is?

The waiting period for a cat without a chip is 3 working days. Is she at the Martinez shelter now? I want to be fair to the current owner as they are probably looking for the cat.

Good news! We found her owners. They have been out of town and apparently she escaped the pet-sitter. Thanks everyone for your help.
